Mission

Pursuing a doctoral thesis is a major career step and a major challenge at the same time. Among other things, research work requires you to familiarise yourself with a topic in depth, manage your research project, not lose sight of the big picture, cooperate with other researchers and publish your research findings.

In addition, the doctorate is the preparation for the next career steps, be it in science, industry or elsewhere. This demands quiring a number of scientific and professional skills.

The Graduate School Electrochemical Energy Storage (GS-EES) supports doctoral researchers doing their PhD in the field of electrochemical energy storage at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Ulm University and Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU).
