Destiny
In order to promote international networking and to broaden the range of high-quality courses for our members, we co-operate with the European doctorate programme DESTINY (Doctorate Programme on Emerging Battery Storage Technology INspiring Young scientists). DESTINY is supported and co-funded by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND PhD Programme and includes 21 universities + 14 research centres, research networks, regions, large scale facilities & national agencies + 8 companies.
There is a mutual agreement between the GS-EES and DESTINY to open their courses for participants of the other doctorate programme without any additional fees. Both sides in general offer financial support for their members to join courses of the other program and participation can also be accounted for in the respective domestic qualification programs.
Several DESTINY doctoral researchers participated in the GS-EES Summer School and Block Courses.
